HENRY F.
WRIGLEY
Henry F.
Wrigley, attorney, was born November 9, 1892, near Eureka, Humboldt County,
California; son of George E., Sr. and Mary (Glue) Wrigley.
He attended the elementary schools
in Humboldt County, California; graduated from Kildale’s
Preparatory College; attended Heald’s Business
College; then Golden Gate College, receiving his LL.B. degree. He also did some
post-graduate work at Pacific College of Law and at University of California
Extension; admitted to the California and Federal bars in 1917, at San
Francisco.
From 1911 to 1913, Mr. Wrigley was a
teacher in the elementary schools in Humboldt County, California, and from 1926
to 1940, he was a teacher in night classes at Heald’s
Business College and also Golden Gate College; served on the San Carlos
Elementary School Board from 1926 to 1940, acting as president of same from
1933 to 1940.
Mr. Wrigley was associated with
Randolph V. Whiting, Esq., in general practice of the law from March 1, 1918,
at San Francisco, California, until the time of his death in 1952. He served as
assistant reporter of decisions of the California Supreme Court and District
Courts of Appeal from 1919 to 1940.
He was a member of the State Bar of
California, San Mateo County Bar Association; San Carlos Masonic Lodge;
Scottish Rite, San Francisco; Alta Lodge I.O.O.F. of San Francisco; San Carlos
Volunteer Fire Department; University of California Alumni Association (life
member); and the following clubs: Commonwealth (San Francisco); Masonic, and Athletic
(San Carlos, California).
On October 1, 1917, Mr. Wrigley
married Margaret C. Stovesand and they have two
children: Henry J. and Margaret Mary. The family home is at 700 Chestnut
Street, San Carlos, California.
