William H. Toepke
Mr.
Toepke has been identified with the profession of architect for the last
eighteen years both in San Francisco and in San Mateo County.
He
drew the plans for the San Mateo Union High School, the San Mateo central fire
station, the Elk’s Club, and numerous residences of Burlingame, *San Mateo and
Redwood City.
Among
the many edifices for which Mr. Toepke has drawn Plans in San Francisco might
be mentioned the Flatiron Building at Market and Sansome Streets, and apartment
for the Cuneo Estate and the Doe Estate, the Mission High School and the Maskey
Building, where Mr. Toepke has offices.
Mr.
Toepke was born July 12, 1871 in San Francisco, and has lived in this city all
his life, with the exception of the last eleven years when he has resided in
San Mateo County. He received his
education in the city’s grammar and high school, and then later fitted himself
for the profession which he is now following.
Mr.
Toepke is interested in fraternal life and is a member of the San Mateo Elk’s Club
No. 1112. He served as Trustee for the
City of San Mateo.
