GEORGE
W. KLEISER
George
W. Kleiser, chairman of the Board of Foster & Kleiser Company, was born June 25, 1874, in Cloverdale,
California; the son of James A. and Elizabeth (Unferfate)
Kleiser.
His education was obtained at the University
of California and Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kleiser
founded the firm of Foster & Kleiser Company in
1901 at San Francisco, California, and is now chairman of the Board of same. He
is director of the Outdoor Advertising, Inc.; president of Outdoor Advertising
Association of America, Inc. 1930-1935, and is now a director of same.
He has membership in the San
Francisco Golf Club, Olympic Club and Commonwealth Club, San Francisco, Los
Angeles Country Club and California Club of Los Angeles.
Mr. Kleiser
married Maude H. O’Neil on February 14, 1900, and they have two sons, George
and John E.
