HENRY
GUSMAN
Henry
Gusman, president of Wooldridge Manufacturing Company,
was born February 6, 1898, in Starodub, Russia; the
son of Mordechai and Zipa
(Belo-Dubrovsky) Gusman.
He obtained his education through
private schools in Europe. Came to the United States in 1917 and was
naturalized in 1924.
Mr. Gusman
was associated with the Stone & Webster Corporation, Seattle, Washington,
from 1917 to 1920 and later was in business individually. He organized
Wooldridge Manufacturing Company at Sunnyvale, California, in 1938 and since
served as president of same. He served as a member of the advisory committee of
the War Production Board from 1942 to 1945.
Mr. Gusman
was married to Anna L. Cohn on July 3, 1922, and has one son, James David.
