WILLIAM
WILLARD CROCKER
William
Willard Crocker, president of Crocker First National Bank, was born in San
Francisco, California, on June 29,1893. He is the son of William and Ethel
(Sperry) Crocker.
After graduating from Groton School
in 1911 he attended Yale University from which he received the A.B. degree in
1915.
Mr. Crocker has been associated with
the Crocker First National Bank of San Francisco, California, since 1919 and
has been president of same since 1936.
During the First World War he served
as first lieutenant with the Field Artillery, 2nd Division, United
States Army, 1917 to 1918, and also with the American Expeditionary Forces.
Received his discharge in December of 1918, with rank of captain.
Mr. Crocker is a member of the Phi
Beta Kappa Fraternity; Pacific Union Club and Bohemian Club (San Francisco); Knickerbocker Club of New York. He is a Republican and an
Episcopalian.
In the year 1923 Mr. Crocker married
Ruth Hobart and has two children, William Henry and Diana Hobart.
