ELLEN McNEIL

ELLEN McNEIL, manager of a farm in Tulare Township, was born in Santa Clara County, in 1859. She came to San Joaquin County with her parents when three years of age. She now resides on a farm of 135 acres of well-improved land, twenty-two miles from Stockton. The farm is chiefly devoted to the raising of grain. She has three children,-- two sons and a daughter; the younger son is Warren Truett McNeil, aged six years. Mrs. McNeil is a lady of refined sensibilities, keen perception, and thoroughly devoted to the duties of the station in which fortune has placed her.
