LIONEL ZELLERBACH
Harold
Lionel Zellerbach, president of Zellerbach
Paper Company and executive vice president of Crown Zellerbach
Corporation, was born in San Francisco, California, on March 25, 1894. He is
the son of Isadore and Jennie (Baruh)
Zellerbach.
He was a student at the University
of California, 1913-15; received the degree of B.S., in economics, from
University of Pennsylvania in 1917.
Mr. Zellerbach
has been associated with the Zellerbach Paper
Company, San Francisco, California, since 1917, beginning as personnel manager,
and has been president of same since 1928. Also executive
vice president and director of Crown Zellerbach
Corporation; director of Fiberboard Products, Inc., Rayonier, Incorporated, and
Niantic Corporation.
President of San Francisco Art
Commission; president of Newhouse Foundation; Mason (Shriner);
and member of the following clubs: St. Francis Yacht, San Francisco Commercial,
Concordia, Commonwealth, Stock Exchange (San Francisco); Bankers (New York
City).
On April 19, 1917, Mr. Zellerbach married Doris Joseph; children: Rolinde (Mrs. Stephen N. Loew,
Jr.), William Joseph and Stephen Anthony.
