DEAN WITTER
Dean Witter, partner in Dean Witter & Company, was born in

World War I Mr. Witter served as Captain with the Infantry, 1917 to 1919, 91st Division,
American Expeditionary Forces, and was cited for gallantry in action; awarded
the Silver Star for gallantry in action, Meuse-Argonne, 1918. In 1918 he was
made assistant chief of staff, operations section, General Staff Headquarters,
Member of the Pacific-Union Club, Bohemian Club (San Francisco);
Links Club, Boone and Crockett Club (New York).
Mr. Witter
married Helen Josephine Perkins on February 20, 1918. Their home is at
2006 Washington Street, San Francisco, California.
