Luther
A. Teague, whose office is at No. 23 Kearny street, San Francisco, has been a
resident of California since 1870, and has been engaged in the practice of
dentistry since 1876. He was born in
Cornwall, England, in 1858, and his family on both sides have been well
connected in that country for several hundred years. The history of the family traces back as far as the war of the
Revolution. His father, William Teague,
has been engaged in educational work in his native country. He is now engaged in viticulture in Fresno
county.
The subject of this sketch received his early education in England, and later in the public schools of San Francisco. In 1876 he commenced the study of dentistry under the preceptorship of Dr. Alfred Bane of this city, with whom he studied and later assisted in operative dentistry until 1883, since which time he has been engaged in private practice. Dr. Teague is a member of the California State Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
