Charles Rogers, lawyer, was born February 21, 1896, on a wheat farm near Washtucna, Adams County, Washington. Parents: Charles
Franklin and Kate Frances (Baker) Rogers.
Attended public
schools of Adams County, Washington and Ventura County, California.
Graduate: Stanford University, Class of 1917, with degrees of A.B. and LL.B.
Prominent in student activities and athletics (rowing crew).
Mr. Rogers has been in practice of
law in San Francisco, California, since June, 1919. Presently partner in firm
of Rogers and Clark, organized January 1, 1932.
During World War I, he was a second
lieutenant in the Infantry.
Member: American Bar Association;
San Francisco Bar Association; Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity; Phi Delta Phi
Fraternity; Stanford Honor Societies: Quadrangle Club, Skull and Snakes, Block
S. Society; and the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.
Mr. Rogers married Frances Bliss in
1922. They have three children: Leslie Charles, Jr., born in 1923; William
Bliss, born in 1924; and Elizabeth Frances, born in 1927.
