W. H. MAHONY
W. H. MAHONY, lawyer, is a native of
the city of New York. He attended
school there and came to California
during boyhood and completed his education here. He studied law in this city,
taking his course at the Hastings College of Law, at which he graduated and was
admitted to the bar in 1884; since then he has been successfully engaged in the
practice of his profession. He was once elected Justice of the Peace in Alameda
county, but resigned. He has no taste for office, and
devotes his whole time and attention to the interests of his profession, and
although a young man he has acquired a lucrative practice, giving much
attention to commercial law.
