ISIAS
WARREN HELLMAN
Isias Warren Hellman, president and director of Wells
Fargo Bank & Union Trust Company, was born in San Francisco, California, on
September 10, 1899. The son of I. W., Jr. and Frances (Jacobi) Hellman, he
received his education at the University of California.
Mr.
Hellman became associated with Wells Fargo Bank 1920; was vice president and
director from 1924 to 1943, and president and director since October of 1943.
He is also director of Farmers and Merchants National Bank of Los Angeles.
During
World War II, April 1942 to January of 1944, he served as captain with the Army
Air Forces, on active duty.
Member
of the Concordia-Argonaut, The Family, Olympic, Stock
Exchange, and Press Clubs.
Mr.
Hellman married Katherine Payne in 1935 (divorced) and has one daughter,
Katherine.
