HARRY S.
DOWE, JR.
Harry S. Dowe, Jr., is successfully engaged in business as an insurance consultant, with office at 333 Montgomery street, San Francisco. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, January 8, 1898, his parents being Harry S. and Mary Marie (Hanley) Dowe. In the acquirement of an education Harry S. Dowe, Jr., attended the public schools of his native city, being graduated from the Central High school of St. Paul in 1915. He was a young man of twenty-three years when in 1921 he came to San Francisco and entered the insurance field. Later he opened an office as an insurance consultant in association with Paul Judson, in which branch of business he has since specialized and in which has manifested particular aptitude.
Mr. Dowe maintains an independent attitude in politics supporting men and measures rather than party. He is fond of baseball and other outdoor sports, to which he turns for recreation when leisure permits. A young man of many admirable personal traits of character, he has won deserved popularity in both business and social circles of his adopted city.
