O. K. CUSHING.

 

As a result of thorough training in the fundamentals of jurisprudence, together with the comprehensive experience gained through more than 30 years of activity in the practice of his profession O. K. Cushing, senior member of the law firm of Cushing & Cushing, of San Francisco, is a most able lawyer and counselor.

 

Mr. Cushing is a native of the state of Nevada, and was born in 1865 at Virginia City. While still very young he moved with his parents to California, and his preparatory educational training was obtained in the public grammar and high schools of San Francisco and Oakland. He later engaged in the private study of law, and was admitted to the bar in 1894.

 

It was two years later that Mr. Cushing entered the active practice of his profession as a member of the firm of Mullany, Grant & Cushing. This association continued until the death of Mr. Mullany in 1903, and at that time he entered into partnership with his brother, Charles S. Cushing, under the firm name of Cushing & Cushing.

 

Mr. Cushing holds  membership in the American Bar Association, California State Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco, as well as in various clubs and other organizations. He has many friends among members of both bench and bar, and is regarded as one of the representative professional men of the state.
