KINGSLEY W.
CANNON
Kingsley W. Cannon, a member of the prominently known law firm of Abbott, Cannon, Appel & Davis, the offices of which are situated at 58 Sutter street in San Francisco, was born in Marysville, California, and is a son of William M. Cannon, who is widely known as a corporation lawyer in California.
Mr. Cannon pursued his early education in the public schools of San Francisco and then attended the University of California for two years, thereafter taking up the study of law at the Hastings College of Law, which institution conferred upon him the LL. B. degree. He was duly admitted to the bar in 1912 and became associated with his father in the practice. Later, he assumed connection with William M. Abbott, Cyril Appel and Ivores Davis, under the present firm title. This law firm is counsel for the Market Street Railway of San Francisco among other important affiliations.
Mr. Cannon has been married, and is the father of two children, Winifred M., and Kingsley Warren, Jr. He is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega collegiate fraternity; the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity; the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks; the Commonwealth Club; the Union League Club; and the Union League Golf and Country Club. In civic affairs of San Francisco, he has always maintained a public-spirited attitude, and holds the respect of all with whom he has come in contact in professional or social circles.
