ROBERT
WILKIN McINTYRE
Robert Wilkin McIntyre is a rising
young attorney of Santa Barbara, with offices at 3 West Carrillo street [sic]. He was
born in Ventura, California, August 13, 1903, his parents being James F. and
Harriet (Wilkin) McIntyre, the former a native of Scotland, while the latter
was born in the state of Ohio. They are
the parents of six children, all of whom are living.
Robert W. McIntyre attended the
public schools of Ventura and Santa Barbara prior to entering the University of
California at Berkeley, from which he was graduated with the degree of Bachelor
of Science as a member of the class of 1928.
Three years later, in 1931, he completed a law course at the same
institution, which then conferred upon him the degree of Bachelor of Laws. He was admitted to the bar in May, 1932, and
has since been engaged in the practice of his chosen profession at Santa
Barbara, where he has already gained enviable recognition as an attorney of marked
ability, possessing a comprehensive understanding of the principles of
jurisprudence. He has membership in the
Santa Barbara County and California State Bar Associations.
In 1925 Mr. McIntyre was united in
marriage to Miss Elizabeth Brundage, of Santa
Barbara, California, daughter of William J. and Sophe
Anne Brundage.
They have one son, Donald William.
Mr. McIntyre is a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, and his
hobby is amateur radio.
