Joseph Leary allas Sylvester Leary, convicted at the---term,' 66, County Court of Amador County, of the crime of injuring in part the county jail, and sentenced for the term of two years imprisonment in the State Prison--pardoned January 4th, 1870, and restored to citizenship.

Frederick Leill, convicted at the January term,' 65 County Court of Fresno County of the crime of perjury, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for eleven years-- pardoned January 12th and restored to citizenship.

Ah Lin (Chinaman), convicted at the April term,' 67, County Court of Siskiyou County, of the crime of robbery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for five years--pardoned January 18th, conditioned that he shall leave the State within thirty days never to return.

William Dixon, convicted at November term,' 60, County Court of Placer County, of the crime of robbery and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for fifteen years--pardoned January 24th, or in other words, commuted to the term of full ten years without deduction in number of days, as authorized by act of April 4th, 1864, and March 30th, 1868.

Louis Pardill alias Louis Marshall, convicted at the May term,' 65, County Court of Sacramento County, of the crime of robbery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for seven years--pardoned February 3rd and restored to citizenship.

Jacob Meintick, sentenced September 30th,' 69, by the Police Court in and for the County in San Francisco to imprisonment in the County Jail for three hundred days, for the crime of assault and battery--pardoned March 4th.

John Turner, convicted--term' 56, in Court of Sessions, San Francisco County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--pardoned March 11th and restored to citizenship.

John Reius, convicted--term,' 68, in County Court of Napa County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for four years--pardoned March 24th and restored to citizenship.

Charles A. Brown, convicted March term' 67, District Court Yolo County, of the crime of manslaughter, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for six years-- pardoned April 6th and restored to citizenship.

Daniel O' Farrell, convicted at April term,' 68 County Court Yuba County, of the crime of arson and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for 2 and one-half, years--April 6th and restored to citizenship.

John O'Grady, convicted May term' 66, in County Court San Francisco County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for seven years--pardoned April 6th and restored to citizenship.

Joseph Turner, convicted September term' 68, in County Court Solano County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for three and one-half, years--pardoned April 15th and restored to citizenship.

Vincente Ariago, convicted July term' 62, in County Court San Bernardino County, of the crime of assault to rape, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for twelve years--pardoned April 15th and restored to citizenship.

Jesus Pizarro, convicted July term' 62, in District Court Placer County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in State Prison for ten years--pardoned April 15th and restored to citizenship.

William Daniels, convicted September term' 68, in County Court Nevada County, of the crime of assault to murder and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for four years--pardoned April 19th, conditional that he leave the State never to return.

George A. H. Bartlett, convicted July term' 69, in County Court San Francisco County, to the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--pardoned May 28th and restored to citizenship.

Joseph A. Oliver, convicted September term' 62, in District Court Merced County, of the crime of murder second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for thirty years--pardoned May 26th and restored to citizenship.

Bell Butler, convicted July term,' 69, in County Court Nevada County, with the crime of assault to murder, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--pardoned May 26th.

Frank Sweeny, convicted at April term' 69, in County Court Alameda County, of the crime of burglary, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--pardoned May 31st and restored to citizenship.

Joseph Dewel, convicted January term' 62, in County Court Amador County, of the crime of rape, and sentenced to, imprisonment in the State Prison for sixteen years--pardoned Jun. 3rd and restored to citizenship.

Peter Burke, convicted January term,' 67, in County Court Mendocino County, of the crime of rape, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for twenty-five years--pardoned June 3rd and restored to citizenship.

William Burch, convicted July term,' 69, in County Court Los Angeles County, of the crime of rape and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for two and one-half years--pardoned Jun. 3rd and restored to citizenship.

Jessie McMahon, convicted September term,' 63, in District Court Sacramento County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for ten years--pardoned Jun. 3rd and restored to citizenship.

M. McDermott, convicted December term' 64, in District Court San Francisco County, of the crime of manslaughter, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for ten years--pardoned Jun. 3rd and restored to citizenship.

James Marshall, convicted Nov. term' 62, in County Court Nevada County, with the crime of robbery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for fourteen years--pardoned June 3rd, conditional that he leaves the State within thirty days, failing which this pardon to be of no effect.

John B. Reagan, convicted June term' 67, in District Court Shasta County, of the crime of manslaughter, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for seven years--pardoned May 26th and restored to citizenship.

John Woods, convicted September term,' 66, in District Court Humboldt County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for ten years--pardoned June 1st and restored to citizenship.

R. Roberts, convicted March term,' 63, in County Court Nevada County, of the crime of robbery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for ten years--pardoned June 1st and restored to citizenship.

Richard Long, convicted September term' 68, in County Court San Francisco County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for two and one-half years-- pardoned June 1st, and restored to citizenship.

W. A. Henderson, convicted May term,' 63, in District Court Placer County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for thirty years--pardoned May 26th, conditioned that he leave the State within sixty days, failing which this pardon is to be of no effect.

Phillip Dick, convicted August term,' 68 in District Court San Joaquin County, of the crime of murder and was sentenced by said Court May 13th, 1870, to be hung on Friday, 8th day of July, 1870, and on the 1? day of July, 1870, sentenced commuted to imprisonment in the State Prison for the period of thirty years, imprisonment to date from the time of his arrival at the prison.

James Quinlan, convicted in Recorder' s Court of the city of Vallejo, on the 4th day of June,' 70, of the crime of assault and battery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the County Jail for the period of one hundred fifty days--pardoned July 20th.

John Keller, convicted October term,' 58, in District Court Sacramento County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for life--sentenced commuted to twelve years, without discount, July 29th.

William Burbs, convicted January term,' 68, in County Court, San Francisco County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for two years--pardoned July 29th and restored to citizenship.

David Hughes, convicted June term,' 67 in District Court of Shasta County, of the crime of manslaughter, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for seven years--pardoned August 4th and restored to citizenship.

William H. Brooks, convicted--term,' 58, in County Court of Yuba County, of the crime of assault with intent to commit robbery, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--pardoned and restored to citizenship.

James Mulqueen, convicted October term' 55, in County Court of San Francisco County of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for two years; his conduct has been such as to justify his restoration of citizenship.

Herbert Barry, convicted--term,' 69, in District Court of San Francisco County, of the crime of manslaughter, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one and one-half years--pardoned October 10th, and restored to citizenship.

Phillip Livingston, convicted November term' 69, in County Court of San Joaquin County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for two years and three months--pardoned October 18th.

G. W. Ross, convicted September term' 62, in County Court of Los Angeles County, of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for ten years--pardoned October 19th.

Samuel Held, convicted October,' 55 in Court of Sessions of the crime of grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for seven years--restored to citizenship October 26th.

Liberado Gonzalez, convicted--term,' 67 in District Court of Los Angeles County, of the crime of murder in second degree, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for fifteen years--pardoned November 2nd.

Hamlin Knowlton, convicted September term,' 70, it in Municipal Court of the city and county of San Francisco, of the crime of assault with intent to murder, sentenced to imprisonment in the County Jail of San Francisco for a period of ninety days--pardoned November 15th.

William Nash, convicted--term,' 70, County Court of Mendocino County, of the crime of assault with a deadly weapon and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year--imprisonment December 2?, 1870.

Ah Yik, convicted July term, 1865, County Court of Sacramento County, of the crime of rape and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for twenty years. Pardon recommended by the Board of State Prison Directors in their report to the Legislature at its eighteenth session. Upon the above recommendation the Governor orders that he be discharged from custody upon the expressed condition that he leave the State within forty days, and never to return.

William Tetherow, convicted January term, 1870, County Court of Sonoma County of the crime of accessory to grand larceny, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for four years--pardoned December 30, 1870.

James Bowling, convicted at--term, 1869, County Court of San Francisco County, of the crime of assault with a deadly weapon, and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Prison for one year and six months--sentenced commuted December 30, 1870, to imprisonment in State Prison for sixteen months.
