GEORGE ALBERT GREENE
GEORGE
ALBERT GREENE.—Success comes only to the industrious and persevering in the
majority of instances, and George Albert Greene, vice-president and secretary
of the National Bond & Mortgage Company, is thoroughly deserving of
the prosperity which he is now enjoying. He is a native Californian, born
in

Greene began his education in the public schools and finished with a business
course; then he became a buyer for a large produce house in San Francisco,
which occupation he followed for several years; then he purchased a fruit ranch
and farmed for three years, when he sold his ranch and removed to Sacramento
and engaged in the real estate business, specializing
on farm lands until the spring of 1921 when the National Bond & Mortgage
Company was organized and Mr. Greene became vice-president and secretary of the
Sacramento branch; the main office of the company is in San Francisco. Mr.
Greene disposed of his interests with the bond company during the spring of
1923 and engaged in colonization work and development of large tracts of
farming land in northern

Catherine Sorenson, a daughter of
