HENRY
DEARBORN FRENCH
Henry Dearborn French Jr. is one of
the rising young representatives of the legal profession in Riverside, with
offices at 3744 Main Street. He is a
native son of this city, born December 18, 1902. His father, Henry Dearborn French Sr., of
The early educational advantages of
Henry D. French were afforded by the grammar and high schools of Riverside,
while his more advanced intellectual training was received at Pomona College, which
in 1925 conferred upon him the Bachelor of Arts Degree. Then in specific preparation for the
profession of his choice he spent two years as a student at
On March 26, 1926, Mr. French was
united in marriage to Miss Pauline Velda Stephenson,
daughter of Decatur Edward aka D. E. and Pearl Bessie (Andrews) Stephenson, of
Riverside. They are the parents of two
children, Verna Nadine aka Nadine Melvina and Roger
Lawrence. Mr. French has membership in
the Congregational Church and the Young Men’s Christian Association, while
fraternally he is identified with the Masons, belonging to the Evergreen Lodge,
No. 259, Free and Accepted Masons (F. & A. M)., and Riverside Chapter, No.
67, Royal Arch Masons (R. A. M). He is
deeply interested in community affairs as well as in the work of the courts and
enjoys deserved popularity in social, civic and professional circles of
In 1956, Mr. French passed away on
October 24, in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. Mrs. French passed away on July 24, 1987, in
Orange County, CA.
