The cemetery is located in the community of Point Pleasant in south Sacramento County.

Point Pleasant Cemetery was established in 1902 with land donated by John Sprock at the time of his wife Annetta’s death. At that time several bodies were removed from Franklin District Cemetery and reinterred at Point Pleasant.  It is a well-maintained small, family cemetery.
