*Solano in Solano County is reported changed to Davisville in Yolo County 8 June 1868, implying that the county change occurred at the same time as the name change. If so, there must have been a change of site or a minor boundary adjustment, for the Solano-Yolo line is reported to have been definitely fixed in 1857.

*Bryden, Honcut and Moores Ranch have a confused history of name and county changes. See note under Butte County. See also Rackerby in the same note.

†Johnson's Ranch was established in Sutter County. It is reported to have been transferred to Yuba County 14 Aug 1866, about three months before its name was changed to Wheatland. The transfer was apparently due to a change of site, as no change of boundary occurred at that time.
