Orange County
Biographies
Justine
Whitney, county recorder of Orange County since 1914, has made a splendid
record in office. She was appointed
deputy recorder of Orange County on the 1st of March, 1903, and
served in that capacity until 1914, when she was elected to the position of
county recorder, which she has filled continuously throughout the intervening
period of nineteen years. No higher testimonial
of her ability and her fidelity to duty can be given than the fact of her long
retention in office by popular suffrage.
Miss
Whitney is a member of the Protestant Episcopal Church and is also identified
with the Daughters of Rebekah and with the Business and Professional Women’s
Club.
