ADOLPH C. (ACE)
HASENJAEGER
A.C. (Ace) Hasenjaeger, president of the Commercial National Bank, was born July 1, 1882, in St. Charles, Missouri; the son of Charles and Minnie (Niemeyer) Hasenjaeger. Both parents died when Mr. Hasenjaeger was six years of age. He received his education in the public schools of Missouri.
Mr. Hasenjaeger began his banking career in 1905 as janitor, then bookkeeper and later cashier in the Bank of Marthasville, Missouri. He was bank examiner from 1922 to 1926; vice president of First National Bank at Bakersfield, California, from 1926 to 1929; secretary and manager of S.W. Building and Loan Association from 1929 to 1934. He became associated with the Commercial National Bank of Santa Ana, California, in May of 1934 as executive vice president and cashier, and was elected president in October of 1943.
Mr. Hasenjaeger was a member of the Santa Ana City Council from 1931 to 1934; director of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce for two years; president of the Orange County League of Municipalities; president of the Orange County Building and Loan League; president of the Toastmasters Club; State vice president of the American Bankers Association, National Banking Division, 1947 and 1948; president of Group Four of the California Bankers Association in 1948 and 1949.
Member of the Kiwanis Club; Elk; and a Mason.
Mr. Hassenjaeger was married in 1906 and has three children; Ruby, Lee J. and May. His home is in Santa Ana, California at 1615 French Street.
