FRANK
EDWARD MARSH
Frank
Edward Marsh, business executive, was born in Bowen, Illinois, on October 10,
1901; son of Harry Boltwood and Nelle
Cora (Mead) Marsh.
He was a student at Knox College,
Galesburg, Illinois, from 1919 to 1923, graduating with the B.S. degree.
Mr. Marsh engaged in investments,
mortgages and real estate from 1923 to 1931, as manager of the Western
Investment Company; associated with Babson Statistical Organization from 1931 to 1934, during which
time he edited “United Reports,” a statistical service for businessmen;
administrative officer for the Federal Housing Administration from 1934 to
1941; Office of Price Administration from 1941 to 1943, during which time he
was regional administrator for the West Coast Region and deputy administrator
in charge of Field Operations; 1943-46, manager of the San Francisco Chamber of
Commerce, Washington, D.C. office; since that time, executive vice president
and general manager of the San Francisco Bay Area Council.

Development Council; San Francisco Sales Executives Association; Public
Relations Society of America; Public Relations Round Table; San Francisco
Advertising Club; Sixth Army Advisory Committee; Marin County Planning

California; National Press; San Francisco Press; Family; Olympic; and Merchants
Exchange.
Belongs to the Presbyterian Church.
