MEMBERSHIP OF
SACRAMENTO LODGE NO. 40
Since its organization on July 26, 1953, 1641 men have become members of
Sacramento Lodge No. 40; 22 as original petitioners, 309 by affiliation, and
1310 by being raised.
The present membership as of July 26, 1953 comprises 759 Master Masons. The
remaining 882 members are accounted for as follows: 477 were members at the
time of their death; 243 dimitted, 7 withdrew to
assist in the organization of new lodges. 7 were expelled and the membership of
the remaining 148 terminated otherwise.
The
accompanying chart on page 49 indicates the growth of our Lodge.
