LEONARD B.
SLOSSON
Without unusual advantages at the outset of his career Leonard B. Slosson, member of the well known law firm of Farrand & Slosson, of Los Angeles, has steadily advanced in his profession by close application to the interests of his calling, until he today occupies a prominent place in legal circles of California.
Mr. Slosson is a native of Kansas, and was born in 1875 at Sabetha. While still very young he moved with his parents to Michigan, where he received his preparatory educational training in public schools. After attending the Michigan Military Academy for some time he studied law, and was admitted to the bar of Michigan in 1898. Shortly after, Mr. Slosson located in Los Angeles and entered practice. He later entered into partnership with George E. Farrand under the firm name of Farrand & Slosson, engaging in general civil practice, specializing in corporation law and doing a large amount of probate and trial work.
The firm is accorded a large clientele of a representative character. They are General Counsel for the California Walnut Growers Association, California Fruit Growers Exchange and the Fruit Growers Supply Company.
Mr. Slosson holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as the University Club, California Club, Los Angeles Country Club, The Beach Club, and the Automobile Club of Southern California. In 1907 he married Elvenia J. Jackson.
