EDWARD T. SHERER

 

 

      Throughout his career in the field of the law Edward T. Sherer, of Los Angeles, has shown the utmost devotion to his profession. Ability, energy and concentration on his practice have brought him substantial success, and a splendid clientele.

      Mr. Sherer is a native of California, and was born in 1878 at Santa Barbara. After receiving his preparatory educational training in public schools of Compton and Los Angeles he attended Stanford University for two years. His legal training was obtained through private study in the office of Judge A. W. Hutton, and he was admitted to the bar in 1899.

      For about a year Mr. Sherer was associated in practice with the firm of Burk, Shepherd & McGilvry, of Seattle, Wash., and he then returned to Los Angeles. He has since engaged in general civil practice alone, specializing in corporation, probate and municipal law.

      Mr. Sherer holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, the Los Angeles Country Club and other organizations. He is also well known in fraternal circles of Los Angeles being a 32° Mason, Shriner and Knight Templar and a member of the Scottish Rite. In 1902 he married Mayme B. Roberts.
