JUSTIN
GERHARDT SCHNEEMAN
Justin Gerhardt Schneeman, president of X-Ray Products Corporation, was born in Lear, Germany, April 28, 1903.
After graduating from high school he studied at technical college for two years, 1920-1922.
Mr. Schneeman was inspector for Hurley Machine Company, Cicero, Illinois, from 1923 to 1925; chief draftsman, chief inspector and assistant to factory manager of General Electric X-Ray Corporation, Chicago, Illinois, 1926 to 1939. He has been president of X-Ray Products Corporation, Los Angeles, California, since 1939.
From 1947 to 1949 Mr. Schneeman was industrial X-Ray diagnostician and consultant on atomic installations at Richland, Washington; member of War Metallurgy Committee of National Research Council
Member of American Society for Metals; American Foundrymen’s Association; American Industrial Radium and X-Ray Society; Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; and belongs to the Lutheran Church.
Mr. Schneeman is the author of articles; and specialist in nuclear physics, with particular reference to x-ray. He designed the Stereo-Fluoroscope for the medical profession as used for Army and Navy Hospitals during war. In 1952 he completed design on Scopemaster industrial x-ray fluoroscope now extensively used in aircraft and other industry.
On February 15, 1930, he married Elizabeth Brauman. Their home is at 13320 Chandler Boulevard, Van Nuys, California.
