THOMAS
CALDWELL RIDGWAY
Another prominent member of the California bar is Thomas C. Ridgway, of Los Angeles, former President of the California State Bar Association. He was born in 1878 at Shawneetown, Ill., and received his early educational training in public schools of Washington, D. C., and at Corcoran School of Science. His legal training was obtained at Columbia University, which conferred on him the degree of LL. B. in 1899.
That same year Mr. Ridgway moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, and was admitted to the bar. In 1905 he located at Los Angeles, where he has since engaged in the general practice of law, building up a large practice and assuming a prominent place in legal circles.
Mr. Ridgway holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, in which he is a member of the Board of Governors, and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as various clubs and Masonic orders. In 1910 he married Grace R. Rowley.
