NED REDDING

 

Ned Redding, publisher of California Intermountain News and others, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 11, 1905; the son of Mack Henry and Bessie (Elliott) Redding.

He was a student at the University of Southern California in 1930; and Southwestern University, Los Angeles, 1931-32.

Mr. Redding published the Shopping Basket News from 1936 to 1942. Publisher of California Intermountain News since 1938, Firestone Park News since 1942, Southeast News Press since 1948, This Week, Los Angeles, since 1948, Miracle Mile Mercury since 1948, and is owner of Redding Enterprises, manufacturers of housewares since 1946.

Mr. Redding is treasurer of Los Angeles County Central Committee; member and director of Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Member of California Newspaper Publisher Association, National Editorial Association; Phi Delta Fraternity; Kiwanis Club; and Latter Day Saints Church. He is a Democrat.

On September 30, 1933, Mr. Redding married Audrey Clark and they have two children: Ned Randolph and Marion Elizabeth.
