RUDOLPH
ARVID PETERSON
Rudolph Arvid Peterson, banker, was born in Svenjunga, Sweden, December 6, 1904. The son of Aaron and Anna (Johanson) Peterson, he was brought to the United States in 1905.
He graduated from University of California in 1925 with the degree of Bachelor of Science.
Mr. Peterson began his career with the Retail Credit Company in 1925; then successively junior clerk, collector, district representative, credit manager, and assistant manager for Area of San Francisco Branch of Commercial Credit Company of Baltimore, Maryland, and was vice president and general manager of Kemsley Milbourne, Ltd. (foreign subsidiary of the company), Mexico City, in 1930, and later Western Division manager of Commercial Credit Company at Chicago, Illinois. He was district manager of Installment Credit Department of Bank of America, with headquarters in Fresno, California, 1936 to 1941, and vice president, with headquarters in San Francisco, 1941 to 1946. He has been president of Allied Building Credits, Inc., with executive office in Los Angeles, since January of 1947.
He is a member of Theta Chi Fraternity.
Mr. Peterson married Patricia W. Price November 5, 1927; children: Leslie Linnea and Rudolph Price.
