ALFRED FRANCIS OHL

 

Alfred Francis Ohl, general partner H. S. Anderson Co. (subsistence contractors), was born in Yonkers, New York, in 1898, son of Frank and Emma (Schaefer) Ohl.

Attended Cornell University, 1915-1916, Columbia University 1917-18, and New York University, 1919 to 1922.

Assistant comptroller Hearst Newspapers 1921-22 and assistant regional director on the Pacific Coast from 1923 to 1925; senior accountant on staff Touche-Niven & Company, Los Angeles from 1926 to 1928; secretary and treasurer of T. V. Allen Company, Los Angeles from 1929 to 1931; executive vice president of J. E. Benton Management Corporation, Los Angeles, from 1932 to 1942; general partner H. S. Anderson Company, subsistence contractors, Los Angeles, since 1943. Also director of The Brown Derby Corporations 1947 to 1952 and presently general partner of the Broadway-Olympic Company, owners of the 939 South Broadway Building, Los Angeles.

Member of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity; and the Los Angeles Country Club.

Mr. Ohl married Helen Elizabeth Middleton June 16, 1922 and has three children: Gerrit Middleton, Alfred Francis Michael and Laurence Edmund.
