WILLIAM NASSOUR

 

 

     William Nassour, business executive, was born in Denver, Colorado, June 24, 1903; the son of Abraham and Rhoda (Khury) Nassour.  He studied at Colorado College for two years, 1923-25.

     Mr. Nassour has been president of Courtley, Ltd., since 1935, Castilien Product Corporation since 1931, Na-Mac Products Corporation since 1934, Modal, Ltd., since 1933, Consolidated Picture and Studio Corporation since 1940, and Nassour's Studios, Inc. (motion pictures), since 1943.  He is also director of Hollywood (California) State Bank.

     He is a member of Society of Plastic Institute; National Association of Manufacturers; Merchants and Manufacturers Association, Los Angeles; Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; California Cosmetics Association (past president); Masonic Order (Shriner, Knight Templar, Royal Order of Jesters); and Wilshire Country Club, Los Angeles.  He is a Republican and member of the Presbyterian Church.

     Mr. Nassour married Bedia Eloise Nickles February 1, 1942, and has two children:  William Edward and Patricia Eloise.
