VINCENT MORGAN

Among the native sons of California who have become prominent in the practice of law is Vincent Morgan, member of the firm of Hill, Morgan & Bledsoe, of Los Angeles. Mr. Morgan was born in 1882 in Los Angeles, and received his preparatory educational training in the public schools of that city. He later entered the University of Southern California and engaged in the study of law, graduating with the LL. B. degree in 1909.

That same year Mr. Morgan was admitted to the California bar and entered practice in Los Angeles, forming the firm of Morgan, Allen & Richardson. This association was dissolved the following year and the firm of Porter, Morgan & Parrot was formed, to continue for many years. In 1925 Mr. Morgan entered into partnership with A. J. Hill and Judge Benjamin F. Bledsoe under the present firm of Hill, Morgan & Bledsoe.

Although he engages in general civil practice, Mr. Morgan specializes in corporation and probate law. For a number of years he served as Instructor in elementary law, domestic relations and code pleadings at the University of Southern California, displaying a thorough knowledge of his subject, as well as the ability to impart this knowledge to others in a most effective manner.

Mr. Morgan holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as Phi Alpha Delta fraternity, Native Sons of the Golden West, University Club, Brentwood Country Club, Club Casa Del Mar, and various other organizations. In 1916 he married Lillie M. Austin.
