MINOR LEE
MOORE
Throughout his entire career Minor Lee Moore, of Los Angeles, has shown the utmost devotion to his profession. Innate ability and concentration on his practice has brought him a large measure of success.
Mr. Moore is a native of Texas, and was born in 1876 at Waco, where he received his early educational training in public schools. He then attended Baylor University, graduating with the A. B. degree in 1900. His legal training was obtained through private study in the offices of Prendergast & Sanford, and he was admitted to the Texas bar in 1903.
The same year Mr. Moore entered practice at Waco, where he continued until March 1907, when he joined Walter Elder at Farmerville, La., where they practiced two years under the firm name of Elder & Moore. In 1908 he was admitted to the California bar and located at Los Angeles, entering partnership with M. J. Finkenstein under the firm name of Moore & Finkenstein. This association continued for a number of years and Mr. Moore has since practiced individually.
Although Mr. Moore engages in general practice he specializes in commercial and corporation law, in which branches he is recognized as being thoroughly informed. He holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Sunset Canyon Country Club, and Los Angeles Democratic Luncheon Club, of which he is President. In 1900 he married Jannie Elder and they have two children, Jannie Lee and Prentiss Elder.
