McKnight makes a specialty of corporation and real estate law and is among the
prominent attorneys of
As attorney for several oil and mining corporations, he has figured in numerous important actions involving great sums of money and vast tracts of land, and serves today as Counsel for many of these concerns, among them the California Midway Oil Co., Midway Royal Petroleum Co., Knickerbocker Mining & Extract Co. and Palladium Investment Co. He also is actively interested in charitable and philanthropic work, acting as Chief Counsel for both the national and local Francis Murphy Associations.
Mr. McKnight is a member of the Faculty of the College of Law, University of Southern California, and also holds membership in the Los Angeles Athletic Club and the Phi Delta Phi fraternity, of which President William H. Taft, ex-President Theodore Roosevelt and several Justices of the United States Supreme Court are members.
