MICHAEL G. LUDDY
Michael G. Luddy, attorney, was born March 19, 1893, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the son of James Peter and Mary (Maloney) Luddy.
His legal education was obtained at the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., from which he received his LL.B. degree in 1916 and was admitted to the Connecticut bar in the same year.
Mr. Luddy was a political correspondent at Washington, D.C., from 1913 to 1916, in general practice of the law at Hartford, Connecticut, from 1916 to 1920; then at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 1920 to 1931. Has been in practice at Los Angeles, California, since 1931, specializing in banking and corporate law. Member of the firm of Bodkin, Breslin & Luddy.
Mr. Luddy is a director of the First National Bank (Glendale, California), Oilfields National Bank (Brea, California), Peoples Bank (Lakewood Village, California), Rotary Materials Company, Gremac Oil Corporation (Long Beach, California), Fibre & Metal Products, Inc. (Downey, California), and Sea Shore Oil Corporation.
Member of American, California State, South Dakota State, and Los Angeles Bar Associations; Knights of Columbus; Elks; belongs to the Roman Catholic Church, and is a Republican.
On February 10, 1918, Mr. Luddy married Anne Teresa Dunn and they have one daughter, Marybeth. Their home is in Glendale, California, at 1535 Virginia Avenue.
