GEORGE W. LOVE

Although he has been practicing law in the city of Los Angeles comparatively few years, George W. Love has built up a clientele of most satisfying proportions.  The litigation which he conducts is concerned chiefly with all phases of Federal immigration and Chinese exclusion laws, also income tax problems, and he is considered an authority on the Federal naturalization law.

Mr. Love is a native of Lisbon, Columbiana county, Ohio, where his birth occurred on the 19th of October, 1880, and he is a son of George W. and Katherine (Coulter) Love.  He received his early education in public and private schools, then attended the University of Illinois and George Washington University Law School in Washington, D. C., and from this institution received the degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws.  He then became affiliated with the United States government as disbursing officer in the department of labor, and later became budget officer in this same division.  He was at one time chairman of a number of committees of the United States Federal Traffic Board, and during the World war period was a member of the Legal Advisory Board, Army Registration.  Mr. Love established himself in the active practice of law in Los Angeles in1927.  His career has been without a blemish in every particular, and he enjoys a reputation of merit both professional and social.  He has achieved a substantial practice in the law and hosts of friends by reason of his honorable dealings and his capable management of the responsibilities entrusted to his care.

Fraternally, Mr. Love is a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.  He is fellow of the National Geographic Society and belongs to the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.  Golf and horseback riding are his favorite recreations.
