KENNETH B.
KIRK
Kenneth B. Kirk, business executive, was born in Forest Grove, Pennsylvania, July 19, 1901, the son of Pierson Vasey and Eva (Burson) Kirk. He received his M.E. degree from Pennsylvania State College in 1920.
Mr. Kirk was assistant marketing manager for Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, in South America, 1920 to 1923; production manager for Sociedade Anonyma Marvin, at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, 1923 to 1925. In 1926 he founded the Kirk-Rich Dial Corporation at Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Seattle, Denver, Pittsburgh and Atlanta, and is now president and general manager of Kirk Dial Corporation in the United States and Kirk Dial Limited in Canada, and also of Dominion Radium Products of Toronto, Canada. Owner and directing manager of Kirk Dial Company of Texas and Kirk Dial of Missouri.
Mr. Kirk is president (1952-53) of the Los Angeles Rotary Club. Mr. Kirk is past president, two years, of the California State Association of District Hospitals, past president and director of nine years of the Desert Hospital at Palm Springs, past chairman of the Annual Desert Circus, Palm Springs; and director of the Desert Circus Association since its inception.
Member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, Republican, Episcopalian, Mason (Shriner); and member of the following clubs: Rotary, Bel-Air Bay (Los Angeles); Racquet (Palm Springs, California); Royal Canadian Yacht and Granite (Toronto, Canada); Tennis Club, Thunderbird Ranch & Country Club (Palm Springs, California).
Mr. Kirk married Helen White on October 20, 1926.
