ROBERT PRATT JENNINGS

 

 

      Robert Pratt Jennings, senior member of the firm of Jennings & Belcher, of Los Angeles, is another member of the bar of California who has attained a large measure of success in practice.

      Mr. Jennings is a native of Kansas, and was born in 1878 at Winfield. After receiving his preparatory educational training in public schools he attended Pomona College, then engaged in the private study of law, being admitted to the California bar in 1901.

      For some years he practiced alone at Los Angeles, and then became senior member of the firm of Jennings & Horton, which was dissolved in 1915. The present firm of Jennings & Belcher was organized in 1919. They engage in general civil practice, largely corporation and insurance law.

      Mr. Jennings specializes in the trial of civil cases. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as the University Club, Brentwood Country Club, Los Angeles Athletic Club and Masonic bodies. In 1904 he married Alice Bent and they have two children, Robert Frank and Marjoria Pauline.
