WILLIAM
BONINE HUBBARD
William Bonine Hubbard, business executive, was born in Pipestone, Minnesota, May 2, 1891, the son of Joseph R. and Jennie A. (Bonine) Hubbard).
He received his preparatory education at Hollywood High School and graduated in 1915 from the University of California with the degree of B.S.
Mr. Hubbard was engaged in ranching operations in Pipestone, Minnesota, from 1915 to 1917; associated with R. H. Moulton & Company, municipal bonds, Los Angeles, from 1919 to 1927; president of Jones, Hubbard and Donnell from 1927 to 1930; vice president of Hartley Rogers and Company from 1931 to 1933; and general partner in page, Hubbard & Asche from 1933 to 1943. He was president of Cherry River Company from 1941 to 1951 and is now a director of Townsend Company—parent of Cherry River Company; director Western Gear Works, Los Angeles; president and director of Realitos Oil company and Anselma Oil Company; principal business as sole general partner in The Hubbard Company, distributor of industrial and construction suppliers.
He is a director of Family Service of Los Angeles, Merchants and Manufacturers Association, California Manufacturers Association, and National Association of Manufacturers; Mason, and member of the following clubs: Stock Exchange, University, Palisades Beach, Annandale Country, and Rotary.
Mr. Hubbard married Helen Josephine Geary June 19, 1920. They have their home in Pasadena, California at 700 Burleigh Drive.
