HUGH GORDON
Hugh Gordon, attorney, was born November 19, 1884, in Columbia, Tennessee.
He is the son of Hugh Taylor and Anna (Nicholson) Gordon.
After
attending the public schools in California he
entered University of
California, from
which he graduated with the B.L. degree. His legal education was obtained at Harvard Law
School, where he
received his LL.B. degree in 1912; admitted to the State Bar of California in
November of 1911.
Mr. Gordon
served as deputy County Counsel for Los
Angeles County, California,
from 1914 to 1919, and as attorney for the State Railroad Commission from 1920
to 1924. He is now engaged in general practice of the law at Los Angeles, California,
in association with Wyman C. Knapp and Joseph C. Gill under
the firm name, Gordon, Knapp, and Gill.
Member of the State Bar of
California, Los Angeles Bar Association, and the Masonic Order.
Offices: 612 Citizens National Bank Building, Los Angeles, California.
