MAX FELIX
Although he has been engaged in the practice of his profession for only five years Max Felix, member of the firm of Lawler & Degnan, of Los Angeles, has given ample evidence of splendid legal ability. He has successfully conducted numerous pieces of litigation, and is rapidly assuming a prominent position among members of the Los Angeles bar.
Mr. Felix is a native of New York, and was born in 1899, moving with his parents to Los Angeles a few years later. After receiving his preparatory educational training in public schools of southern California he entered the University of California, which conferred on him the A. B. degree in 1920. His legal training was obtained at the law school of the same institution, from which he graduated with the J. D. degree in 1922. He was admitted to the bar the same year.
The firm of Lawler & Degnan, of which Mr. Felix is a member, is one of the best known in southern California. They engage in general civil practice, specializing in corporation and financial law, and represent as Counsel such interests as the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company, Southern California Telephone Company, Standard Oil Company of California, Farmers' & Merchants' National Bank, and the American Surety Company of New York.
Mr. Felix holds membership in the State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as the Round Table Club and Hillcrest Country Club.
