ISAAC BLAIR EVANS

 

 

      I. Blair Evans is a member of the firm of Cruickshank, Brooke & Evans, of Pasadena. He is a native of Utah, and was born in 1885 at Ogden. After completing his early training in public schools of that city he entered Harvard University, which conferred on him the A. B. degree in 1908. His legal training was obtained at the law school of the same institution, from which he graduated with the LL. B. degree in 1913.

      In 1917 he became Assistant District Attorney for the third judicial district of Utah, and after serving for about a year he became Assistant United States Attorney for Utah. In 1920 he was made United States Attorney for that state, but the following year he resigned, and moved to Pasadena to re-enter private practice.

      The firm of Cruickshank, Brooke & Evans engages in general civil practice, specializing in corporation, banking and probate law. They are accorded a splendid clientele, being Counsel for many important interests, including the First National Bank, First Trust & Savings Bank of Pasadena, California Security Loan Corporation, First Holding Corporation and Thomas M. Sizer Company.

      Mr. Evans holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association and Pasadena Bar Association. He is a 33° Mason, and a member of the University Club of Pasadena, Pasadena Athletic & Country Club, Annandale Golf Club, Southern California Historical Society and Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Gamma Chi fraternities.
