ARTHUR L. ERB
Arthur L. Erb, city judge of Beverly
Hills, is a well known representative of the legal profession who has practiced
in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles since his return from overseas service in the
World War. He was born in Tacoma,
Washington, January 22, 1893, and in the acquirement of an education attended
the public schools of Victoria, British Columbia, and the state of Washington. His professional training was received in
Stanford University of California, from which institution he was graduated with
the degree of LL. B. in 1915. The
following year, in San Francisco, he was admitted to the California bar. At the time of the World War he joined the
Three Hundred Sixty-Third Infantry, with which he served as first lieutenant
overseas. On his return to civil life he
resumed the practice of law, which he has followed successfully in Beverly
Hills and Los Angeles to the present time, maintaining an office at 331-1/2
North Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills. He
was appointed the first judge of the city court of Beverly Hills and is making
a most creditable and commendable record on the bench. Judge Erb has membership in the Los Angeles
County and California State Bar Associations and aside from his professional
activities figures prominently in civic bodies and in public affairs.
In 1924 Judge Erb was united in
marriage to Miss Highland Reeder of Beverly Hills and they are the parents of a
daughter, Eunice Margaret. They reside
at 1445 North Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills.
