 FRANK CLARK DUNHAM

The zeal with which he has devoted himself to the practice of his profession and the careful regard he has shown to the interests of clients has brought Judge Frank C. Dunham, of Pasadena, a representative general practice.

Judge Dunham is a native of Iowa, and was born in 1884 at Estherville. After completing his preparatory educational training in public grammar and high schools of that city and Iowa City he entered the State University of Iowa, which conferred on him the A. B. degree in 1908. He then moved to Los Angeles and entered the law school of the University of Southern California, from which he graduated with the LL. B. degree in 1910. He entered practice, however, the year previous. Upon his admission to the California bar Judge Dunham became associated in practice with the firm of Valentine & Newby, of Los Angeles. In 1911 he entered private practice at Pasadena and also became Justice of the Peace of Pasadena Township, in which capacity he served for three years. In 1918 he was appointed Judge of the Police Court.

Judge Dunham specializes in probate and financial law. He is Attorney for a number of important interests, including the Pasadena National Bank, of which he is a Director, and the Scientific Investment Company, and his clientele is constantly increasing. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and Pasadena Bar Association, Elks Club and Pasadena Athletic & Country Club as well as member of the Optimists' Club, of which he served as first President. In 1910 he married Amy L. Atwood, who died in 1914. In 1916 he married Bertha V. Hollins, and they have four children, Lovina B., Flora A., Francis H. and Clarence A.
