EDGAR SHELTON DULIN

 

 

Edgar Shelton Dulin, president of Byron Jackson Co., was born November 4, 1892, in San Diego, California; son of Edgar G. and Jean B. (Garrettson) Dulin. Student at the University of California, 1912-14.

Mr. Dulin started his career in 1914 with the Blankenhorn-Hunter Company, real estate, insurance and investments, and served as vice president and director of same, 1915-19; vice president and director of Blankenhorn-Hunter-Dulin company, investment securities, 1919-29, the firm changing in 1922 to Hunter-Dulin and Co.; then became vice president and director of Byron Jackson Co., Los Angeles, California, manufacturers of centrifugal and oil well tools, and since 1929, has been president of same.

Director of DiGiorgio Fruit Corporation, Tea Garden Products Company, Industrial Indemnity Company, Merchants and Manufacturers Association, Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association, Pacific American Investors, Inc., and Metal Trades Manufacturers Association of Southern California, Byron Jackson Co., Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, the Investment Company of America; member Industrial Advisory Committee, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Mr. Dulin is a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity; and the following clubs: California, Los Angeles Country, Wilshire Country (Los Angeles, California); Newport Harbor Yacht (Balboa, California); Bohemian (San Francisco, California); Ramada (Houston, Texas); Metropolitan (New York City).

Mr. Dulin married Sueadele Miles on November 10, 1915.
