RICHARD JOHN DILLON

 

 

      A native son of California who has attained a large measure of success in the practice of law is Richard J. Dillon, of Los Angeles, who has been in practice in that city for more than 30 years. Mr. Dillon was born in San Francisco in 1874. He attended St. Vincents College, which conferred on him the A. B. degree in 1893. He then entered the University of California, graduating with the LL.B. degree in 1896.

      The same year Mr. Dillon was admitted to the California bar and entered practice at Los Angeles. In 1900 he entered into partnership with John G. Mott under the firm name of Mott & Dillon. This association continued for more than 15 years, and since the dissolution of the partnership Mr. Dillon has practiced individually. He specializes in corporation law, although engaging in general civil practice, and is accorded an extensive clientele.

      Mr. Dillon holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as various clubs and other organizations.
