EARLE MARTIN
DANIELS
Earle Martin Daniels, attorney, was born in Batavia, Illinois, on August 20, 1888. He is the son of Dr. G. Maitland Daniels and Kate (Abernathy) Daniels.
He obtained his education at the Batavia (Illinois) public schools; Wheaton Academy (Illinois); Wheaton College, 1906-09; and Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois), 1906-09, then studied law at University of Southern California, 1910-12; receiving his LL.B. degree in 1912 and was admitted to the State Bar of California on June 14 of the same year.
Mr. Daniels began his legal career in association with the firm of Behymer & Craig, Los Angeles, California. From 1913 to 1951, he has practiced individually and then under the firm name of Daniels & Daniels; former city attorney of Eagle Rock, California.
Member of the Eagle Rock (California) Chamber of Commerce (president); Los Angeles Bar Association (trustee member of Grievance Committee), State Bar of California (member of Administrative Committee; member of Board of Governors), American Bar Association; Delta Chi Fraternity; and the Los Angeles Athletic Club. His hobby is ranching.
In March of 1913, Mr. Daniels married Ethel Fern Long and they have two sons, Earle Martin, Jr., born July 20, 1917, and Robert Burdette, born July 27, 1919.
