BING (HARRY LILLIS) CROSBY
Bing (Harry Lillis) Crosby, actor and singer, was born in Tacoma, Washington, May 2, 1904. The son of Harry Lowe and Catherine C.
Student at the Gonzaga University (Spokane, Washington), 1914 to 1924; and received an honorary Ph.D. degree from the same university in 1937.
From 1925 to 1930, Mr. Crosby sang with dance bands; then broadcasting with Columbia System from 1931 to 1935. He was with the National Broadcasting Company from 1936 to 1947, and has been with the American Broadcasting Company since 1947.
As a screen actor he has been associated with Paramount Production, Incorporated, since 1931; and is president of Bing Crosby, Ltd., Inc.
Member of the Lakeside Golf Club, Bel-Air Country Club (California); and Friars Club (New York). Roman Catholic.
Mr. Crosby married Wilma W. Wyatt on September 29, 1930, and has four sons: Gary Evan, Dennis Michael, Philip Lang, and Howard Lindsay.
